Witam, zainstalowałem Compiz-Fusion, instalacja przebiegła prawidło. Włączam program, ustawiam różne efekty, ale nic się nie zmienia. Próbowałem restart i dalej nic… Szukałem na necie ale nic nie znalazłem co by mi pomogło… Może trzeba w nim coś konfigurować, a ja o tym nie wiedziałem?

Compiz-Fusion zainstalowałem według tego poradnika:
Na sam początek instalowałeś sterowniki do karty graficznej? Pokaż wynik:
glxinfo | grep directSterowniki instalowałem.

Error: "/root/.kde4/tmp-localhost.localdomain" points to "/tmp/kde-root" instead of "/root/tmp/kde-root".
Nie znam się zbytnio ale widzę sporo errorów, więc chyba nie za dobrze jest…
Ps. Zauważyłem że niektóre efekty zaczęły działać, ale niestety tylko niektóre.

Wyłączyłem wszystkie opcje, reset a one dalej działają :-o
Takie małe pytanie compiz --replace uruchomiłeś jako root?? Jeżeli tak, to spróbuj jako zwykły użytkownik. Możesz też spróbować:
compiz --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp --loose-binding
Jeżeli dalej nie zadziała to zrób:
rm -R ~/.config/compiz
Usunie to całą konfigurację compiza, ale też to zrób jako zwykły użytkownik
Komendy compiz --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp --loose-binding oraz compiz --replace powodują chwilowe poczernienie ekranu, ale nic nie wyświetlą w konsoli.
compiz --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp --loose-binding niby pomogło, ale znikły przyciski maksymalizacji, zamykania itd. Czy to http://www.mandrivalinux.eu/showthread.php?t=468233 pomoże? (Chodzi mi o uwagi końcowe)
Czy teraz mogę używać Compiza?
Sterowniki już masz, a pokaż co wywali to compiz --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp --loose-binding w terminalu, masz kde? Jeżeli tak to sprawdź czy masz zainstalowano compiz-decorator-kde .

nic nie wywala, ekran robi się na chwile czarny po czym pojawia się konsola a w niej tylko to co wpisałem, kursor przechodzi do następnej linijki ale nic nie wyświetla.
A co do compiz-decorator-kde to hmm… Sorry ale nie wiem jak to sprawdzić ;/ Byłbym wdzięczny za rady dla nowicjusza. Mam KDE
A czy wywali coś:
compiz --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp --loose-binding --debug
Wydaje mi się że to winna braku compiz-decorator-kde, co by tłumaczyło czemu nie ma pasków z zamknij, zminimalizuj itp. a że compiz nic nie wywala. Jak to sprawdzić, nie mam mandrivy, ale na pewno jest tam jakiś menadżer pakietów, czy centrum oprogramowania, poszukaj, albo niech się ktoś wypowie co ma mandrivę gdzie to jest.

Szukałem wcześniej w zainstalowanym oprogramowaniu i czegoś takiego jak compiz-decorator-kde nie mam, z rzeczy podobnych nazwą mam tylko compiz - OpenGL composite manager for Xgl and AIGLX

Robiłeś tak na tym zdjęciu? Nie mam pojęci co dalej, to chyba jakieś udziwnienia Mandrivy, a sam nigdy Mandrivy nie testowałem.

Posty na tamtej stronie od Maggota są pisane przeze mnie więc może wyczytasz tam coś co spowodowało problem. Głównie chodzi tam o instalacje sterowników do Karty Graficznej ale może jest tam coś przydatnego.
Może napisz znów tam, możesz im podać linka do tego tematu, żeby się nie powtarzać. Ale mam jeszcze jeden pomysł, z tego co wyczytałem, problem może leżeć w tym że wywaliłeś konfigurację compiza, normalnie powinien zrobić nową ale on ma jakiś problem (chyba bug). Spróbuj uruchomić ccsm jeszcze raz (to ten program, w którym ustawiasz efekty) i po zaznaczaj parę, aha i nie zapomni zaznaczyć dekoracji okna oraz przenieś okno.
dragonn nie wiem jak to się stało ale zaczęło działać wszystko 
Dzięki za pomoc, pewnie jakaś komenda rozkruszyła ten program. Wszystko działa elegancko, jak będzie jakiś problem napiszę na tamtym forum, albo zmienię po prostu system, Debian wydaje się stabilniejszy ale muszę się jeszcze sporo nauczyć.
