Witam!
No więc ściągnąłem najnowszą wersję VDMSound, w którym znajduję się m.in. Speedfan. Odpalam Speedfan.exe w folderze programu VDMSound i oto rezultat:
VDMSound DOS loader, version 2.01 (Aug 04 2001)

Usage: SPEEDSET speed
…where speed is a number between 100.0 (fastest) and -100.0 (slowest).
No więc pierw zamontowałem obraz płyty D’Fall’a na dysku J:. Wygląda to tak:
Mount Type : CDROM
Select Drive/CDROM/Image or floopy to mount : J:\DAGGER\ARENA2
Drive label : J:\
Enable Input/output control (recommended for WinXP/2K/NT4): Włączone
Mounted drive letter : J
Wszystko idzie dobrze, do czasu gdy próbuje odpalić grę [dagger.exe]. Wyświetla się komunikat:
ERROR: Unable to locate the Daggerfall CD. Make sure the CD is in the drive before starting the game. If the CD is in the drive, make sure that the drive letter assignment (D:, E:, etc.) is the same as whem Daggerfall was installed.
A tak wygląda cały proces:
_mount e e:\dagger_
_Drive E is mounted as local directory e:\dagger_
_mount j “j:\dagger\arena2” -t cdrom -ioctl -label j:_
MSCDEX: Mounted subdirectory: limited support.
Drive J is mounted as CDRom.
E:
