Jak zmienić rozdzielczość w ubuntu (nvidia)

Zainstalowałem sterowniki nVidia do Ubuntu po pobraniu sterowników i instalacji system żądał ponownego uruchomienia komputera, wiec ponownie uruchomiłem komputer, i po uruchomieniu rozdzielczość z 1600x1200 spadła do 800x600 i najgorsze jest to że nie mogę tego zmienić w System > Preferencje > Rozdzielczość ekranu bo tam są tylko 2 rozdzielczość do wyboru (640x480 i 800x600) a przed instalacją sterowników były wszystkie. Proszę o pomoc bo w tej rozdzielczości nie da sie pracować, za pomoc z góry dziękuje.

Hmm no ja to widze wszystko ok, ale specem od xorg nie jestem.Ja to bym na twoim miejscu odinstalował te sterowniki, przekonfigurował xorga, zakutalizował system (bo tam jest jakiś nowy kernel) i wgrał stery ponownie. Jak chcesz mieć koniecznie tą rozdzielczość 1600x1200 to ustaw ją sobie podczas konfiguracji, zostaw sobie moze jeszcze 1024x786 a inne wywal.

A więc:

po wcisnieciu ctr + alt + F1 i wyłączeniu gdm:

/etc/init.d/gdm stop

dajesz:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

odpowiadasz na wszystkie pytania, w dziale o informacji o karcie graficznej dajesz “nv” (oczywiscie pod warunkiem ze stery odinstalowałeś)

pozniej system powinien dobrze ci wykryć min. odświezanie ekranu i inne.

Na koniec dajesz

/etc/init.d/gdm start

Jak to zrobisz to zaktualizuj system i na nowo wgraj sterowniki, powinno być ok.

Oczywiscie mozesz wczesniej poeksperymetnować troche, na przykład wywalić z xorg.conf wszystkie inne rozdzielczosci oprócz 1600x1200, ale czy to coś da w twoim przypadku to nie wiem, bo może musisz coś podziałać z odświezaniem ekranu, nie wiem :wink: jak mówilem specem od xorga nie jestem. Możliwe że ktoś ci do tego czasu lepiej doradzi :slight_smile:

W przypadku całkowitego posypania się X-sów również mozesz stosowac powyższy opis.

w pewnym momencie będziesz mógł dodać rozdzielczość jaką chcesz
