Witam!
Mój problem polega na tym,że nie jestem w stanie uruchomić Compiz Fusion na systemie Ubuntu 7.10 z kartą graficzną ATI Radeon X1800XL.
Ściągnąłem sterowniki ze strony producenta.
Obecnie akceleracja 3D działa,jednak Compiz Fusion nie chce się uruchomić.

Próbowałem uruchomić Compiz Fusion włączając efekty pulpitu,ale otrzymałem komunikat:
Wiadomości znalezione przy pomocy Google nie pomogły mi rozwiązać problemu,więc proszę o pomoc.
Może ktoś z Was już się z tym spotkał.

Przydatny może być twój xorg.conf
Sprawdź sobie jeszcze tą stronę oraz tą może to coś Ci pomoże

Stronę http://www.howtoforge.com/ubuntu_feisty … ati_radeon dobrze znam i zapoznałem się z tym, co na niej jest.
Teraz przeczytam,co jest na tej pierwszej.
Zrobiłem to,co było napisane na tym forum poza instalacją Beryla i niestety to mi nie pomogło,więc cofnąłem zmiany w xorg.conf i użyłem Envy.Teraz Compiz Fusion działa bardzo dobrze.
Gry jednak się tną,a obraz przy oglądaniu filmów mruga.Po wyłączeniu CF wszystko jest ok.

Problem nie tkwi w instalacji cf, ale w zainstalowaniu zamkniętych sterowników i potem doinstalowaniu xgl. aixgl nie chodzi od kart x200, a bez akceleracji nie chodzi od radeona 9300. Mam opis jak to wszystko zainstalować, ale dla karty 9550. U cibie pewnie wystarczy zmienić sterownik. W razie co odezwij się na gg.
