No cóż. Dużo ilość adresów repozytorium może spowodować spowolnienie działania. Chociaż instalacji programów jak update całego systemu.
Ja się nie będe kłócił jeżeli wiecie lepiej, to róbcie jak uważacie.
No widzę ze masz pojęcie o czym pisze skoro nawet nie wiesz co to jest source.list

ale nic mi linux nie zwolnił 
Wątpię żeby duża ilość repo wpływała na szybkość systemu (z wyjątkiem oczywiście ich updatu ). Zaś co do samego repo to najłatwiejszym, sprawdzonym sposobem jest skorzystanie z tego spisu:
