Po ostatniej potyczce z wirusami zauważyłem wyraźne spowolnienie uruchamiania się komputera - po wyświetleniu na ekranie pulpitu rzeźbi po dysku jeszcze około 3 minut.
Kilkakrotnie zdarzyło się następnie, że po odpaleniu WWDC wyskoczył mi komunikat, że zużycie pamięci przez svchost.exe przekracza zwyczajowe wartości, co może oznaczać obecność wirusa - svchost zużywał wtedy - wg menadżera zadań - ok 40 000 K. Zapuczczałem więc Avasta i AVG Anti-Spyware - za pierwszym razem AVG znalazł istotnie w pliku C:\WINDOWS\system32\recsl.exe backdoora Backdoor.SdBot.awk, który został wywalony i pamięć svchosta spadła poniżej 20 000 K, w następnych przypadkach ani Avast ani SVG nic nie wykrywały. Zauważyłem natomiast towarzyszące temu bardzo duże zużycie pamięci przez HelpSvc.exe - przeciętnie w zakresie 50 000 - 200 000 K; tym niemniej po jakimś czasie (kilka - kilkanaście minut chyba) lub po restarcie komputera HelpSvc znika z menadżera zadań i zużycie pamięci przez svchost utrzymuje się na zwykłym poziomie…
Pytanie mam więc proste - czy to normalne - czy też szukać trzeba czegoś brzydkiego? Czy wgranie SP2 coś tu pomoże?

a sprawdź czy będzie to po restarcie, jeśli tak to masz za dużo uruchomionych procesów i załadowanych bibliotek w pamięci co powoduje ten komunikat

Dziękuję za objaśnienia.
Jeśli chodzi o zużycie pamięci przez svchost, to odnoszę wrażenie, że dzieje się to tylko przy pierwszym uruchomieniu komputera danego dnia (ale raczej nie każdego). Nie prowadziłem jakichś dłuższych obserwacji pozwalających znaleźć jakąś prawidłowość, ale w trzech czy czterech przypadkach, w których to za duże obciążenie nastąpiło, po restarcie lub ponownym odpaleniu komputera za kilka godzin wszystko jest OK. Tym niemniej odnoszę wrażenie, że problem z obciążeniem svchosta jest związany z aktywnością HelpSvc.exe.
W każdym razie jutro spróbuję wgrać SP2 - i obaczym.
