Jestem początkującym użytkownikiem systemu linux.Mam problem z moją kartą USB ,a mianowicie odpalam BT5 R2 liveCD i gdy wpisuję komendę ifconfig i iwconfig to wykrywa mi tylko eth0 i lo.System nie chce mi wykryć karty sieciowej podpiętą pod USB(atheros ar5523).Z tego co wiem od razu po podłączeniu jej do portu USB powinno mi wykryć wlan0 lecz nie wykrywa.Gdy wpiszę komendę dmesg to pokazuje mi iż karata jest wpięta do portu.Nie wiem co mam dalej z tym zrobić.Szukałem już ponad 3dni rozwiązania na internecie.Przewierciłem bardzo dużo stron lecz z negatywnym wynikiem.Zdesperowany postanowiłem napisać na tym forum bo wieżę że znajdzie się tu osoba która znajdzie rozwiązanie mojego problemu.
PS.Jeżeli jest jakaś możliwość zrobienia tego to proszę o pomoc.Z góry dziękuję.Proszę o szybką odpowiedź.

Sprawdziłem pakiet linux-firmware jest zainstalowany.Nie mogę zrobić tego co jest napisane w tej instrukcji http://wiki.debian.org/ar5523 ponieważ potrzeba do tego dostępu do internetu ,a w tym momencie nie posiadam kabla od internetu. Korzystam w tym momencie z Windows 7 i połączenie z internetem mam przez właśnie tą kartę (korzystam z darmowego wlan-a).Nasuwa się pytanie czy jest jakaś inna możliwość zainstalowania tego http://wiki.debian.org/ar5523??
Znalazłem na internecie coś takiego ( ar5523.tgz oraz madwifi-0.9.4.tar ) gdybym zainstalował to , to czy by rozwiązało to mój problem??
