Mam taki problem zainstalowałem sobie kubuntu 12.04 i chciałem dodać pozycje windowsa do gruba i nie mogę znaleźć pliku menu.lst w folderze /boot/grub nie ma go.

Ubuntu w tej wersji używa Gruba 2 (1.99), zajrzyj tutaj:

Przeczytaj dokładnie i dostosuj do wersji.
Plik konfiguracyjny: /boot/grub/grub.cfg => nie edytujemy ręcznie.

Nie uczyć się złych nwyków tylko pokazać wynik z live-cd:
sudo os-prober
Podaj jeszcze wynik tego skrytpu:

Już jest wszystko ok jakoś samo się naprawiło.
