Natomiast nie próbowałem czegoś takiego: Microsoft make some changes in default application settings and now priority has UWP and Microsoft applications. I fix this by installing irfanView 64 UWP and IrfanView 64 Win64. Then i uninstall IrfanView UWP and normal IrfanView works correct. I może spróbuję przy kolejnej instalacji. Jednak przede wszystkim dominują wpisy tego typu:
I ran into this issue myself yesterday building a new W11 machine. I installed as an administrator. I tried the set associations in Irfanview (64 bit). Most image types set as expected, but not jpg, png, and maybe a few others. I was unable to set Irfanview as a default viewer in the control panel. It opens up with a long list of file extensions, and jpg is not in there. I don’t think that you can see and option when you right click on the file to „open with - choose another app”. Windows11 also refuses to allow the user to use VLC I hear. I have not tried that yet. MS seems to be deliberately trying to force an inferior product on the customer. Probably not intentionally, but it seems that way.
Właśnie z tej rady skorzystałem O dziwno z aktualizacją z Windows 8 do Windows 10 nie miałem problemu. Wszystko śmigało bardzo ładnie. W przypadku Windows 11 widać że trzeba dać im więcej czasu.
