Jak przyspieszyć czas uruchamiamiania Ubuntu [11.10]? ;

Posiadam laptopa Lenovo y550 ( Intel Core 2 Duo T4300 4GB 500GB 15,6’ GFGT240M) na którym zainstalowałem sobie jakieś 8 m-cy temu obok Win7 - Ubuntu wtedy w wersji 11.04. Mimo, iż wielu ludzi uskarżało i nadal uskarża się na Unity mi ono się spodobało i chociaż wiele było uwag dot. np. stabilności o dziwo ja nie miałem żadnych problemów, ogólnie większość najważniejszych rzeczy działała- wifi, usypianie, hibernacja, przyciski głośności, kombinacje fn-podświetlenie itd. (jedyne na co mogę się uskarżać to brak dźwięku przestrzennego, niedziałający slidebar i brak podświetlenia przycisków głośności). Zacząłem korzystać z Ubuntu jako domyślnego systemu, przyszedł październik i wyskoczył mi komunikat, że dostępna jest aktualizacja ;czytałem, że mechanizm jest zawodny i często system po takiej aktualizacji się sypie; ale jakoś na blaszaku skorzystałem z tej opcji od wersji 9.10 i nic się nie stało, więc zatwierdziłem ją.Aktualizacja się udała i do tej pory wszystko było ok.

Ale już od jakichś 2 tygodni zauważyłem, że system uruchamia się wolniej, o ile wcześniej czas do ukazania się pulpitu wynosił ok 40 sek. teraz wynosi więcej niż 1 min 30s. Nie wiec, co jest tego przyczyną programy startowe ma ograniczone do tych podstawowych NVIDIA X Server itd, jeszcze jakiś program do automatycznej zmiany tapety i indykator pogodowy, ale one były włączone cały czas, więc to raczej problem leży gdzieś indziej ale nie wiem gdzie.

Po za tym pojawił mi się jeszcze problem z touchpadem bardzo często zdarza się, że przestaje reagować, klawiatura wtedy też nie działa, jedynie przycisk wł/wył i tym sposobem wykonuje reset chwila pracy i znowu… więc teraz korzystam z myszki.

Zainstaluj ppa-purge i aktualizację Xorg’a z PPA:

sudo apt-get install ppa-purge

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

W razie problemów ze stabilnością Xorg wykonaj polecenie:

sudo ppa-purge ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates

Ostatecznie zalecam świeża instalację Ubuntu 11.10, gdyż upgrade ostatnich wersji Ubuntu to loteria… Albo działa, albo są takie i inne problemy.

Szukając rozwiązania mojego problemy natknąłem się na wątki związane z bootchartem i wyłączaniem modułów startowych, więc jeżeli to coś pomoże to zamieszczam także log z bootcharta i screen z BootUp-Manager.

Arku zainstaluj najnowszy kernel 3.2 z poniższego PPA:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:francisbrwn9/kernels && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Dodatkowo zainstaluj wspomnianą w poprzednim moim poście wersję Xorg i sterowników do karty graficznej.

Aktualizacja kernela? Trochę się boję, ze coś zrobię ‘nie tak’ i uwali mi system, namiesza w grubie… (korzystam z burga)

W Ubuntu 11.10 istnieje błąd, powodujący długie uruchamianie i zamykanie systemu.

O, dzięki. Zrobiłem wszystko to co pisałeś (kernel X.org) i niby w Centrum widnieje ze te wszystkie ppa są dodane i zainstalowane, to komputer dalej uruchamia się na kernelu 3.0, co prawda 2 razy już uruchomił się w ok 58 sec ale teraz znowu powraca do czasu > 1.5 min.

Spróbuję tego sposobu z Launchpada.
