Jak skonfigurować poprawnie modem cdma?

Ktoś może wie jak poprawnie skonfigurować modem cdma pod usb (AnyDATA ADU635WA) w Ubuntu 11.04 x64 i podzieli się tą wiedza? Proszę tylko nie mówić że jest google itp bo szukałem (naprawdę próbowałem) i znalazłem same śmieci, nic nie działa lub robię coś źle.

Wiem modem jest dualny i działa także w technologi umts/gsm. Nie mam zasięgu dla sieci umts a w gsm można dostać szału; poza tym też nie chce działać.

System bardzo mi się podoba tylko bez dostępu do internetu nie da się pracować.

Proszę tylko o rozwiązania do konfiguracji cdma, bo albo ta technologia albo żadna czyli zostaje przy okanch ms.

Zainstaluj Network Manager i dodaj nowe połączenie komórkowe (CDMA). Jeśli modem jest wykrywany you powinien odpalic na 5 klikniec. Może Ci się przydać info od operatora dot. APN, loginu, hasła itp.

Nie działa. Network Manager jest zainstalowany. Dodaje połączenie komórkowe, wybieram modem, wpisuje numer, login i hasło, zaznaczam auto logowanie. Nie łączy. Coś próbuje ale pojawia się tylko informacja “rozłączono” i nic więcej.

mam modemik który powinien bez problemu działać z network menagerem - Huawei E220 - i rzeczywiście działa na Ubuntu, a na Debianie już nie…

podłączyłem go przez program konsolowy wvdial - śmiga aż miło :slight_smile:

Tak, tylko że obsługuje tylko GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS i HSDPA czyli nie ma cdma i podobny modem mam (Huawei E870 Express Card). Problem polega na tym że mieszkam w takim miejscu gdzie mam zasięg cdma, gsm i edge z czego dwa ostanie to nie zamierzam czekać całego dnia aż mi się jakakolwiek strona załaduje. Jeśli mam na linuksie mieć tylko te dwie ostatnie technologie to już wole okienka ms gdzie cdma śmiga bez problemów.

Czy Twój modem jest wykrywany jako modem (urządzenia typu /dev/tty*) czy jako dysk (/dev/sd*)?

W /var/log/messages co się pojawia podczas podłączenia modemu do komputera i ok minutę po?

W modemach 2G/3G do przelaczania w tryb modemu służy usb_modeswitch, być może w CDMA też.

Nie ma czegoś takiego. Znaczy: klikam ‘system plików’ później ‘var’ ‘log’ i w tym katalogu nie ma tego ‘messages’

Jak sprawdzić te ‘dev’ nie wiem,. są w tym katalogu jakieś pliki tty ale nie da się tego uruchomić

Na początek to pokaż wyniki tych poleceń:

lspci -k

Jeżeli modem jest na pci, a jeżeli na usb to:

lsusb

Plus jeszcze wynik:

dmesg > log.txt

Po tym w twoim katalogu w którym aktualnie jesteś (najprawdopodobniej katalog domowy) pojawi się plik log.txt, jego zawartość wrzucasz tutaj na forum.

Pobrałem pod windows pakiet

, przechodzę na ubuntu i po dwukrotnym kliknięciu uruchamia się “centrum oprogramowania ubuntu” z informacją “Niemożliwe spełnienie zależności: libuniconf4.4” i na tym się kończy. Próbowałem z kilku tych odnośników co były na stronie, może pakiet uszkodzony czy coś, ale to samo.

skoro musisz to zrobić bez internetu to zrób w ten sposób:

oczywiście pobierasz pakiety dla swojej wersji x64

jakbym miał internet na ubuntu toby tych postów nie było, mam neta tylko na winxp a ubuntu zainstalowałem obok na innej partycji

gdzie tam jest wersja dla x64 bo chyba oślepłem na starość, same i386 a to raczej nie to?

masz podane nazwy niezbędnych pakietów i ich wersje - kopiujesz nazwę i wersję, wrzucasz w google z dopiskiem x64, pobierasz. instalujesz na ubunciaku. wcześniej musisz tylko stworzyć odpowiedniego configa do wvdial, w zalezności od tego kto jest twoim operatorem, coś jest podane w tym wcześniejszym tutorialu, choć pewnie będzie wymagało modyfikacji.

Niestety nie działa. Ostatnie linie polecenia “dmesg” było tych ttyUSB od 0 do 5, nie wiedziałem które więc próbowałem po kolej.

Próbowałem po kilkanaście razy i za każdym razem to samo. Sprawdzałem za każdą zmianą tego ttyUSB czy aby gdzie nie popełniłem literówki i nie znalazłem błędu.
