Kwin i efekty

Mam opensuse 11.0 RC1 i Kde 4.1 beta 1. Wszystko wcześniej działało, dopóki nie wgrałem nowego kernela i sterowników do grafy. Gdy próbuję włączyć efekty pulpitu, wszystko ładnie jest napisane, że zostały zmienione, mogę włączać i wyłączać wtyczki, ale tak na prawdę efekty nie są włączone. Żadnej różnicy wydajności, dosłownie tak, jakby wcale nie próbowały się włączyć. W W czym może tkwić problem? W terminalu, nic nie wyskakuje, zupełnie jakby wszystko było dobrze.

Podaj wynik polecenia glxinfo. A w jaki sposób instalowałeś sterownik nvidii? I jaką wersję. Bo do stabilnego sterownika potrzeba patch do kernela 2.6.25 albo skorzystać ze sterownika beta za strony nvidia.com.

Nie wiem jaka wersja KDE4 jest w openSuse, ale co trochę kompiluję sobie wersję z svn i tydzień(?) temu miałem coś podobnego… w ogóel się nie załączały efekty kwina…

Wczoraj zrobiłem UP’a kde4 i jest ok…

Ale możliwe że to też dlatego, że nie masz sterownkiów poprawnie zainstalowanych. (do 2.6.25, trzeba patcha na sterowniki, tak jak mówi Fisiu)

Raczej poprawnie. Patch jest potrzebny do wersji 169.12. Ja miałem betę 173.08, a teraz stable z 28 maja 173.14.05 i one patcha nie porzebują. Sterowniki działają glx też. Kernel 2.6.25.4. Słabo znam angielski, może wyciągniecie jakieś wnioski z tego Topicu? http://www.suseforums.net/index.php?s=5 … opic=50711. Coś tam gościu też pisze, że mu kwin nie działa, ale dużo nie rozumiem.

Przecież napisałem w pierwszym poście. “Mam opensuse 11.0 RC1 i Kde 4.1 beta 1.” ;p

Nie wiadomo czy wpuszczą do repo 4.0.81, może poczekają do beta 2. A nie wiem czy warto kompilować. Nie pamiętasz może, na jakiej rev. ci nie działało? Choć innym na beta 1 działa, to może faktycznie wina kde.

To jeszcze można z svn skompilować, ale nie wiem czy Cię to satysfakcjonuje :), przed jutrem pewnie by działało (bo jutro comnitują dużo pachy to może nie działać)

Wgrałem kde 4.0.81 - to samo. Niezależnie czy renfering ustawiony na xRender czy OpenGL dzieje się to samo. Jak zwykle innym działa. Błąd w suse? Być może, ale na pewno już poprawiony który u mnie został. Ma ktoś jeszcze jakieś teorie? Raczej nie chcę reinstalować systemu. Próbować z compizem?
