Linux Mint 15 - sterownik karty graficznej intel gma4500m

Witam!

Od rana walczę z sterownikiem do karty graficznej intel gma4500 (Acer Aspire 5736Z) i powoli mnie krew zalewa. Nie mogę ustawić natywnej rozdzielczości, rozjaśnić monitora etc. Po odpaleniu systemu wita mnie komunikat, że system korzysta z softwarowej akceleracji grafiki. Da sie to odczuć: system strasznie muli a temperatura procka bliska 100 st.C. Trochę danych z konsoli:

To skąd te problemy i ten komunikat po odpaleniu systemu:

Sterowniki intela są domyślnie zawarte w jądrze Linuksa - jedyne co możesz zrobić to je zaktualizować bo rozwijają się one w ostatnim czasie bardzo dynamicznie - najlepiej na 3.12 albo 3.11. Ewentualnie możesz jeszcze zaktualizować Mesa - ale to raczej wpłynie tylko na wydajność niż na samo działanie grafiki.

Sterowniki zaktualizowałem, ale mimo tego że są w jadrze to wygląda na to ze system z nich nie korzysta.
