[Mint/LXDE] Logowanie za pomocą czytnika linii papilarnych

Witam,

używam Linux Mint 10 LXDE na laptopie Toshiba R200 mam w nim czytnik linii papilarnych i chciałbym go używać do np. logowania w systemie zamiast wpisywania hasła i tu mam problem bo nie wiem jak to zrobić oraz jakie sterowniki zainstalować :cry:

Przy okazji chciałbym się zapytać czy mogę jakoś wykorzystać moduł TPM (Trusted Platform Module).

Używałem na Ubuntu 10.10, obecnie na 11.04 mam problemy, więc na razie odinstalowałem.

ok zainstalowałem ale sukces jest tylko częściowy bo fajnie to działa w konsoli z sudo, ale nadal nie mogę się w ten sposób zalogować, w ustawieniach mam nieaktywne pola przy gdm i kdm, z tego co wyczytałem wychodzi, że to przez to iż mam LXDE a nie gnome czy KDE :frowning: da się coś z tym jeszcze wykombinować ?

A jakiego używasz menadżera logowania? Nie wiem co tam jest w Mintcie/Lxde, na pewno da się to skonfigurować, całość pewnie korzysta z PAM, jeżeli menadżer logowania go wspiera to na pewno da się to zrobić.

Jest tam gdm. Obsługuje PAM.

To dobrze. cabis pokaż zawartość plików /etc/pam.d/sudo i cat /etc/pam.d/gdm

Mówiąc szczerze nawet nie wiem ale podejrzewam że jest to domyślny dla LXDE czyli LXDM, nie wydaje mi się aby to był GDM bo wtedy chyba już by to działało prawda ?

gdyby kogoś to jeszcze interesowało to rozwiązałem problem najprostszym sposobem czyli najpierw zainstalowałem GDM i ustawiłem go jako domyślny menadżer logowania a potem usunąłem LXDM i teraz wszystko już działa tak jak chciałem :slight_smile:

Podepnę się bo sprawa podobna.
Lenovo X201, czy po zainstalowaniu Minta będzie działał czytnik linii papilarnych?
Odpalony z Live CD nie widzi go, powiedzmy że średniowiecznymi metodami doinstaluję sterowniki, jak bardzo trzeba się potem gimnastykować aby normalnie to urządzenie działało i po diabła jakieś menadżery logowania dodatkowe trzeba instalować?
Czy Linuks jest aż tak zacofany że nie ma podstawowych sterowników nie wspominając o wsparciu dla zwykłego logowania?
