Radeon 9600 na fglrx - direct rendering: no

Wcześniej nie mogłem uruchomić systemu na sterownikach fglrx z bardzo prostej przyczyny - instalowałem sterowniki z repozytoriów edg’iego na drap’erze - i dlatego mi X’y nie wstawały.

Zainstalowałem sterowniki drappera i kubuntu na nich działa ale niestety nie ma przyspieszania sprzętowego.

Google nie pomaga.

Nie mogę znaleźć rozwiązania więc piszę na forum

Może ja coś źle robię (a to bardzo możliwe bo to dopiero moje początki z linuxem)?

Twoją kartę wspierają sterowniki otwarte i właśnie je polecam Tobie zainstalować. Uwierz mi - są o niebo lepsze niż fglrx.

Przekonuj mnie jak chcesz, ale i tak będę za otwartymi sterownikami w przypadku kart z chipsetem ATI - po prostu otwarte są lepsze, działa na nich AIGLX, oraz rozszerzenie composite, dodatkowo są stabilniejsze, w większości wypadków nawet wydajniejsze.

Tak.

W podanym przeze mnie temacie, jest napisane jakie masz paczki zainstalować aby posiadać akcelerację 3D na otwartych sterownikach. Przeczytaj uważnie temat. Jeżeli coś pójdzie nie tak, użyj szukajki na podanym forum, bo już dużo razy to omawialiśmy.

  Pakiet libgl1 nie jest zainstalowany.

  Pakiet libgl1-mesa dostarcza libgl1, ale jest przeznaczony do usunięcia.

Co teraz? (jakiś kilometrowy post mi wyszedł )

Cały xorg.conf jest zmieszany - to przez fglrx.

Zrób: dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg aby ponownie go skonfigurować. Tutaj masz dokładny opis krok po kroku: http://debian.linux.pl/viewtopic.php?t=492

Potem zainstaluj podane pakiety w moim opisie o sterownikach ati. Następnie skonfiguruj xorga.

Możesz sobie potem zainstalować np. compiza: http://debian.linux.pl/viewtopic.php?t=666

Wiesz, nie mam ubuntu, więc nie wiem jakie są tam zależności między pakietami, ale tak czy owak, spróbuj je rozwiązać.

Zrób update i upgrade systemu.

Daj apt-get -f install (ostrożnie z tym!)

Dalej masz w nim bałagan i śmiem twierdzić, że nie wiesz do czego jest np:

Po prostu masz tam bałagan. Zrób dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg i potem skonfiguruj xorg.conf odpowiednio, ale znowu nie rób takeigo bałaganu

Zacząłem się “bawić” i X’y nie wstawały. Nawet przywrócenie kopii xorga nic nie dało więc livecd do nagrywareczki i ognia… (oczywiście format + install )
