Generalnie pojawiają się pierwsze oznaki zużycia, ale dysk nadal jest dobrym stanie.

Atrybut 0A:

Liczba prób rozpędzenia talerzy dysku. Atrybut ten przechowuje całkowitą liczbę prób rozpoczęcia rozpędzenia talerzy dysku (do osiągnięcia pełnej prędkości obrotowej). Wzrost wartości atrybutu oznacza problemy z podsystemem mechanicznym dysku.

Atrybut B8:

Atrybut ten oznacza, że po przesłaniu przez bufor danych, ich parzystość nie jest zgodna (pomiędzy kontrolerem a twardym dyskiem).
