Być może SMART uznał że jeszcze sektor nie jest spisany na straty i udało się go zreanimować. “Pending” to sektory potencjalnie uszkodzone. Przeskanuj dysk poleceniem
i zobacz czy coś nowego wyskoczy.
To polecenie nie ma paska postępu. Przy wpisaniu pokaże tylko ile będzie trwało mniej więcej.

Test software’owy typu badblock a test SMART to 2 kompetnie różne tematy. SMART ma dużo większe możliwości zarówno analizy jak i naprawy dysku.
Poczekaj conajmiej 108 minut od odpalenia testu i potem ponownie sprawdz poleceniem smartctl -a czy coś się zmieniło. Najlepiej żebyś podczas testu nie korzystał internsywnie z dysku i nie resetował kompa (reset anuluje test).

Jednak się skusiłem i uruchomiłem go ponownie, żeby sprawdzić czy windows będzie działać, a z windowsem jest to samo co było.

Nigdy nie twierdziłem, że wykonanie powyższych poleceń naprawi windowsa. Jedyne co, to daje szanse na reanimację dysku.

Ale czy wtedy by się wieszały dwa systemy operacyjne, no bo przecież mało prawdopodobne, żeby linux i windows korzystały z tego samego pliku.

No ja dalej nie wiem co z tym fantem zrobić bo dalej mi pokazuje, że sektor 6502545 jest uszkodzony, a poleceniem
hdparm --read-sector 6502545 /dev/sda
Pokazuje mi, że jest wypełniony zerami.
A jeszcze takie jedno pytanie czy istnieje możliwość sprawdzenia na jakiej partycji znajduje się dany sektor.

sudo fdisk -l -u /dev/sda
i zobaczysz zakresy sektórów kóre pokrywa każda partycja.

Na teście typu smartctl -a /dev/sda wykryło tylko uszkodzone sektory na partycji windowsa natomiast test typu smartctl -t long /dev/sda nie działa.

Jeśli sypie czymś w stylu I/O error to podejrzewam że cała reszta dysk jest kompletnie zajechana i nie da się z tym nic zrobić.

Jeśli problem dotyczy pojedynczych sektorów to spokojnie da się je podmienić z puli zapasowych i dysk może jeszcze latami chodzić bezawaryjnie (z własnego doświadczenia).

Tak, ale taki problem może też być np. padająca elektronika dysku, miałem tak raz że dane od połowy dysku były w ogóle niedostępne.
