Witam
Od niedawna jestem posiadaczem Linuxa w swoim laptopie. Niestety mam problem, gdyż nie mogę się podłączyć do internetu za pomocą tzw kabla. Linux wykrywa tylko połączenie lecz ciągle nie może się połączyć z internetem. Będę bardzo wdzięczny za pomoc

Napisz coś więcej o swoim dostawcy internetu. Możliwe, że musisz ustawić statyczny adres IP.

Jednym dostawcą internetu jest sieć osiedlowa(IST- istsc.pl ) natomiast drugi przypadek jest z mieszkaniem w akademiku. Mając Windowsa 7 wszystko działało bez problemu. WiFi działa bez żadnych problemów natomiast podczas łączenia z sieciową przewodową Ubuntu znajduje normalnie sieć próbuje nawiązac połączenie, ale bezskutecznie.

Wszystko fajnie, pięknie, ale chodziło mi to, żebyś te wyniki podał mi jak podłączasz się kablem, bo widać, że jesteś połączony z siecią WiFi i nie ma z nią żadnych problemów. Podaj jeszcze raz te same wyniki, ale z podłączonym kablem sieciowym i rozłączonym WiFi.

Wygląda na to, że na kablu uzyskujesz tylko adres IPv6. Pokaż wyniki poniższych poleceń.

Rozumiem, że bezprzewodowo łączysz się z tą samą siecią? Jeśli tak, to zobacz co będzie jak przypiszesz adres statycznie, tzn. ręcznie.

Masz możliwość połączenia się z tą siecią, co łączysz się po kablu, bezprzewodowo?
Mój błąd (przyzwyczajony jestem do automatycznego uzupełniania poleceń), powinno być

Podłącz się kablem, nie łącz się z inną siecią bezprzewodową i pokaż jeszcze raz wynik poleceń.
ifconfig eth0
ip link show dev eth0
ip -6 route
Na chwilę obecną wygląda to tak, że w sieci, do której się podłączasz skonfigurowany jest tylko protokół IPv6, przypisywany jest Ci adres routowalny, więc sieć mimo wszystko powinna działać. Sprawdzałeś w akademiku czy wyniki są takie same?

Co do komendy sudo dhclient eth0 ciagle pyta mnie tylko o haslo i nic nie pokazuje. Oczywiście wpisuje z podpiętym kablem.

Wygląda na to, że w sieci, z której korzystasz nie działa protokół IPv4, system nie może również znaleźć serwera DHCP, który przydziela adres IPv4. Uzyskujesz globalne adresy IPv6. Popytaj administratora/dostawcę z jakiej wersji protokołu IP korzysta sieć, wtedy będzie wiadomo na czym stoimy.
Na Windowsie również ten problem występuje? Jeśli nie, uruchom wiersz poleceń systemu Windows i podaj mi wyniki poniższych poleceń kopiowanie-wynikow-polecen-wiersza-polecen-windows-t499881.html

Oczywiście przy podłączonym kablu sieciowym.

Jak miałem Windowsa wszystko działało bezproblemowo. Jednak zdecydowałem się na całkowitą zmianę i mam teraz tylko Linuxa.
Usage: route [-nNvee] [-FC] [] List kernel routing tables
route [-v] [-FC] {add|del|flush} ... Modify routing table for AF.
route {-h|--help} [] Detailed usage syntax for specified AF.
route {-V|--version} Display version/author and exit.
-v, --verbose be verbose

-C, --cache display routing cache instead of FIB
=Use '-A ' or '--'; default: inet
List of possible address families (which support routing):

Pozostałe komendy mi nie działają.

Bo one działają na Windowsie, a te wyniki poleceń chciałem z Windows o czy pisałem,
bo myślałem, że z niego również korzystasz.
Jak będziesz coś wiedział, to daj znać.
