Ubuntu 7.04, broblem ze sterami i nagrzewająca sie kartą

Witam mam problem z Ubuntu 7.04, lub sterownikami, które mam zainstalowane do karty graficznej. No to tak, że włączam sesje gnome z xgl, odpalam beryl, lub compiz fusion i po 15 minutach komputer się zacina.

Włączam zwykłął sesje odpalam gre i po 15 minutach gra sama mi się wyłącza, lub komputer mi się zacina, a to dlatego, że karta się przegrzewa. Te gry nie są za bardzo wymagające jak na moją kartę. W ogóle moja karta nagrzewa się do wysokiej temperatury od samego chodzenia. Mam radeona 9600 pro 128\128 i zainstalowane stery fglrx.

Przeglądałem fora i znalazłem podobne problemy z Ubuntu i radeonami.

Na windowsie kara mi się nie przegrzewa nawet jak odpale wymagające gry. Poradzie coś, bo ja już nie mam pojęcia co z tym zrobić.

Jesteś pewny że to przegrzanie karty? Pobaw się ls_sensors i upewnij się że grafika się przegrzewa…

jestem na 100% pewny, że to karta graficzna. Dotykałem radiator. Jak siedzę na linuksie to niestety strasznie jest gorący. Na windowsie tego nie ma, a do nie go nie chce wracać.

tak założyłem wiatrak do karty, ale to mi tylko trochę pomogło, ale w taktowaniach nic nie zmieniałem

To pewnie wina sterownika… Spróbuj zmienić wersję sterownika na starszą bądź nowszą…

nawet jak są sterowniki standardowe to i karta się przegrzewa. Instalowałem jeszcze stery przez envy i nic to nie dało. Mój znajomy też miał podobny problem, też ubuntu się mu zacinał i przeniósł się na debiana i jakoś mu wszystko śmiga.

Watras16 :a na pewno na Windowsie się nie przegrzewała? Bo jakoś ciężko mi wierzyć w to, że Linux tak ją “męczy”

no niestety na windowsie się nic nie nagrzewa :cry: Nie ma znaczenia jakie jest środowisko, czy gnome, czy kde, karta i tak się przegrzewa. muszę spróbować jakieś innej dystrybucji. Wiecie czy ubuneo pójdzie na debianie?

teraz już nie wiem bo mam wiatrak, ale kiedyś dotykałem radiator. Na windowsie był zimny na linuksie niestety nie :cry:

Może wlączyłeś windowsa, zimny… przelączasz na linuksa już nie…
