Witam. Mam ten sam problem, co założyciel tego tematu: modem/router ZTE MF60, system Xubuntu 13.10 i brak wykrycia modemu przez system. Po podłączeniu system widzi go jako napęd CD. Podczas tworzenia nowego połączenia sieciowego w telefonii komórkowej w kreatorze nie da się wybrać z listy mojego urządzenia, gdyż system go nie wykrywa (nie ma na liście żadnego modemu).
Po wpisaniu komendy “lsusb” pojawia się lista urządzeń podłączonych do komputera poprzez USB. Na pierwszym miejscu znajduje się mój modem (oprócz numeru slotu USB i numeru urządzenia wymieniona tam jest także jego nazwa, producent, rodzina modeli itp.; krótko mówiąc, wyświetlają się poprawne i właściwe dane). Pakiet usb-modeswitch odinstalowałem niedawno, gdyż był w starej wersji, jeszcze z końcówki 2012 roku. Mam pliki “usb-modeswitch-2.0.1” i “usb-modeswitch-data” pobrane z tej strony.
Rozpakowuję je i w konsoli wpisuję:
sudo make install

Nie mogę znaleźć pakietu libudev (tzn. jest, ale w formie paczki .deb, po której otwarciu menedżer oprogramowania wyświetla komunikat o błędzie). Nie wiem, co mam robić dalej. Proszę o pomoc.
Przy okazji zapytam o jedną rzecz. Wyczytałem na zagranicznym forum, że z Debianem nie ma takich głupich problemów i bez trudu mógłbym uzyskać połączenie z Internetem przy użyciu mojego modemu. Czy faktycznie tak jest? Jeśli tak, to chyba zrezygnuję z Xubuntu na rzecz Debiana z XFCE, bo mam już dość tego czegoś, co jest niby łatwe dla użytkowników.
