Z racji wprowadzonych zmian w systemie Windows 11 zastąpienie domyślnego edytora dla polecenia Edytuj w menu kontekstowym dla plików tekstowych wymaga dodatkowych wpisów w rejestrze, oprócz ustawienia debuggera dla notepad.exe.

Otwórz plik fix.reg i dodaj zmiany do rejestru.
Zmiany są wprowadzane w locie - natychmiast.
Od teraz każdy plik, który ma domyślne powiązanie z notepad.exe będzie otwierany w notepad++.exe
Cofnięcie zmian. Uruchom CMD jako administrator i usuń klucz rejestru:
reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\notepad.exe" /f
